Pine took a different approach in the design and
construction of the AFG1A. We asked personnel in the asphalt paving
industry what features they would like in a next generation
compactor. As a result of their input, Pine developed a more
compact, portable machine that allows the operator to take the
tester to the material for field QC/QA. It is also suitable for
laboratory design work.Both compactors are easy to use, loaded with
features, and sturdy enough to provide years of reliable service in
the demanding construction industry. Data retrieval from either
compactor can be accomplished with Pine-Pave
software.
