ThinPave™ 5500 Overlay Nuclear Density Gauge

The NEW InstroTek ThinPave™ 5500 is a next-generation nuclear density gauge designed for today’s asphalt pavements. Developed by the original inventor of Thin Layer nuclear gauge technology, the 5500 is the only gauge that reliably measures pavement overlays from 0.5 to 4-inch (12.5–100 mm) thickness.

The ThinPave 5500’s smaller footprint and fully enclosed source assembly improves stability, reduces surface roughness, and prevents debris buildup for more consistent results. The ThinPave also offers flexible data access via the MyGauge™ App or USB port. ThinPave can be equipped with InstroTek’s NukeTrack Gauge Tracking System to easily locate and track the gauge in case of emergency or theft.
